Dan Oliver
I'm Dan Oliver and I am one of our instructors here at RiverHead
Training. I specialize in Linux training as well as our vendor-
neutral CompTIA classes.
I have been working with IT systems for over 10 years and have been
administering Linux servers for more than 6 of those years. I
initially began working at RiverHead as a part of the technical
administration team here and began training Linux classes as demand for the
operating system grew.
I am still very much involved with the technical team at RiverHead
and work with them when I am not training classes. I also am very
interested in security and application development and do a lot of
work in both of these areas in my spare time. When I'm not working
on a computer I'm probably playing a video game online or taking my
BMX for a spin around the block.
My certifications include: CNI, CLP, RHCT, MCT, MCDST, Linux+, Server+,
Security+, Network+, A+, I-net+, HTI+, NCTS, and NCLS.
